Record the decision before spending
Write the upgrade or repair you need, its displayed cost and the task it supports. A station planner can remember these checks, but cannot calculate a return on investment from unverified processing speeds or rewards.
Do not infer a payout from one event
If observing earnings, note the completed task and funds before and after it. Other simultaneous outcomes can change the balance. A single observation should remain a save-specific note until the reward conditions are verified.
Duplication is a bug, not an economy strategy
The armory duplication fixes in #14, #18 and #19 document item errors and cleanup, not an intended income loop. This guide does not recommend exploiting duplicates or disposing of necessary equipment to fund an upgrade.
