Follow the case, not a guessed answer key
Use the evidence and prompts attached to the current case. The official store establishes investigation and detective work, but does not publish a complete sequence of answers for every named case.
Check the handoff point
A filled case shelf being ignored was addressed in #4. Detective workstation file interaction and floating files were addressed in #14. Device-facing indicators added in #18 help review access without assuming the case logic is wrong.
Before moving toward Execution
Read whether the case is ready for the next stage and which object the objective asks you to move. Expanded-case transport through a Documents Box has its own #8/#10 history; it should not be confused with a detective still examining a file.
Patch evidence
Updated . Historical demonstrations retain their original dates; a patch label is not a numeric build ID.
Frequently asked questions
Does a file-access patch reveal the answer to a case?
No. It corrects interaction or workflow behavior. The clues and decisions for a named case still need case-specific evidence.
