Use the Detective Board as context

Official material identifies investigative and detective minigames and a Detective Room assignment example. Later strategic work connects cases, intel and gang influence at district level.

Track the next evidence gap

A useful examination note says what evidence or lead remains, not which unsupported answer is supposedly correct.

  1. CaseWhat report or incident is being examined?
  2. LeadWhat source-backed or in-game clue is present?
  3. Next checkWhat verified action remains before field work?

Detective access: Hotfix #1

The Full Version fix addresses a Detective unable to reach the Fax Machine or Shredder. Update and retest that specific assignment before treating it as an active launch bug.

Historical Demo hint changes remain separate. A long investigation or an unknown puzzle answer is not automatically the same access problem.

Patch changes relevant to this guide

Reviewed against the official Full Version notes below. Earlier developer demonstrations retain their original source dates; this review does not verify unpublished costs or every release-build interaction.

  1. Patch Notes #4Check shelf occupancy and worker presence separately. The mention of level 0 does not establish a complete station-tier progression table.
  2. Patch Notes #14The developer offers a cleanup action for duplicate equipment. Later #18 and #19 correct separate duplication triggers; do not collapse them into one universal resolved bug.
  3. Patch Notes #18Do not use this historical note to claim FSR remains disabled: #19 re-enabled it the next day. Keep the cabinet pickup fix distinct from case-board objectives.
